Description 

The American Swing check valves are designed only for fire protection services, also referred to as non-return, retention, or one-way valve, a check valve is designed to only allow the flow of water in one direction, a swing type clapper is found inside the valve which is spring loaded preventing water from flowing in a return direction.

Coatings

• The interior and exterior of the valve coated with fusion-bonded epoxy in
  accordance with ANSI/AWWA C550
